Well, this weekend saw the release of the first of the summer blockbusters and the “bridge” to the Thor, Cap and Avenger movies. That’s right, Iron Man 2!  Wal-mart’s selling exclusive 6 inch figures of the main guys from the film. The Iron Man MK VI armor and WARMACHINE. There are some others that are out as well, but I don’t care about those actually.

Only had the chance to mess with Iron Man Mk VI so far.  It seems the figures themselves are well sculpted and have great paint apps. Articulation could be a lot better, but Hasbro has pulled back in that area. Still, the figures have nice shelf presence and are great collectibles for those who want some memorabilia from a great movie. Pick ‘em up!

EDIT: I need for Bandai to make us a Movie Realization Iron Man figure now. Diecast metal and all!
